Week 3 Independent Study
The result of an explosion on a vehicle can be predicted as there is only 2 static meshes created for the vehicle; normal and damaged. The same end product can be expected every time you throw a grenade to the building. This is because the game has set the vehicle to either normal or damaged, there is no inbetween.
An explosion on an architectural entity is very random. When a grenade is thrown at it, material from the building is thrown around the place. Each grenade thrown at it creates a different effect each time and therefore we cannot predict the end result of the explosion of architectural entities.
